The Job At-A-Glance: Q2 is seeking a

Business Consultant

to work closely with Implementation Engineers, Project Managers, and Client Project teams to achieve successful configuration and deployment of Q2’s Risk & Fraud Management Software Solutions, primarily Positive Pay. This individual will provide subject matter expertise as a member of multiple concurrent Q2 implementation project teams, reporting to an Implementations Delivery Manager. You will develop and deliver best practices in both technical and non-technical/business aspects of a project. The Business Consultant evaluates and executes upon any deficits in execution detail so that both the client and Q2 teams meet and exceed delivery expectations. Typically involves interaction with sales, hosting, product, development, and other members of cross-functional teams. May communicate in various forms to Q2 and Client, including Executive level staff. These types of communication can include emails, presentations, formal and informal ad hoc meetings, ranging from consultative recommendations, setting expectations, developing requirements and participating in troubleshooting.

A Typical Day:

Acts as subject matter expert in Centrix product features and functionality

Analyses customer’s business and makes recommendations

Develop and deliver best practices and proper product implementation execution

Assesses project risks and builds mitigating strategies

Acts as a liaison and manages expectations related to timing, functionality and back-office requirements needed to support a successful go live

Works with Product and Engineering to ensure suggested solutions are feasible, assists with building requirements and solution design where applicable

Guides other Implementation resources in areas of product expertise, case resolution, client communication and process improvement

Leads case management and timely issue resolution by facilitating case reviews

Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to

Helps to oversee testing and case resolution

Bring Your Passion, Do What You Love. Here’s What We’re Looking For:

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience.

Familiarity with enterprise software deployment architecture and methodologies

Knowledge of effective business requirements practices and support methodologies

Strong written and oral communication skills, excellent people and teamwork skills

Ability to convey technical concepts to business-oriented banking project teams, including Senior Management, and interact with technical internal resources

Remains calm, diplomatic and cooperative under stressful conditions

Attention to detail, exceptional follow-through, the ability to prioritize, stay organized, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Promotes a strong sense of urgency and enthusiasm for reaching goals and meeting deadlines

Passion for improving processes and a commitment to customer satisfaction

Financial Services and enterprise software experience preferred

Ability to travel up to 30% of the time

This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
