This foundational leadership role is pivotal in defining and executing the enterprise data architecture strategy, driving the transition to modern, cloud-native, and hybrid data platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting scalable and secure data solutions that meet evolving regulatory requirements, creating reusable data models, and leading the adoption of modern data principles. Additionally, the role involves chairing the Data & Analytics Architecture Review Board, collaborating with various technical organizations, and representing the data and analytics function in enterprise architecture councils. Candidates for this role at The Company should have a proven track record in leading large-scale data transformations, particularly in highly regulated industries. Deep expertise in distributed data platforms, modern data tools, and real-time and batch data processing is essential. The role requires a leader with a strong executive presence, the ability to influence at all levels, and experience in Agile environments. A Bachelor's degree in a related technical field is required, and the ideal candidate will have a background in data mesh principles, federated governance, and data product lifecycle management. The Vice President of Data Architecture will also be responsible for cross-functional leadership, people development, and fostering a culture of architectural excellence and innovation.
