The HR Director is a key role responsible for the management of all HR functions, services, policies, and programs supporting IAIA’s 130+ full-time employees. This position requires senior-level performance and subject-matter expertise across a wide range of HR and organizational issues, with proficiency in core HR competencies. Responsibilities
Serve as HR consultant to Senior Leadership and the management team on a diverse range of employment regulations, legal matters, employee relations issues, and compliance requirements. Provide high-level guidance to IAIA’s key stakeholders and contribute to IAIA’s strategic goals through effective HR initiatives. Direct and contribute to initiatives and processes within IAIA, applying ethical practices and strong leadership. Manage interactions to provide effective HR support and services, ensuring cultural effectiveness and alignment with IAIA’s core values. Qualifications
Required Experience and Education: Must have a BA in HR or related field and at least ten (10) years of direct senior-level experience. Must have HR expertise with a demonstrated management background of an HR Department for a complex organization with 50+ employees. Must have at least a PHR Certification. Preferred: Master’s Degree and/or SPHR / SHRM-SCP Certification. Experience within a higher education environment or a non-profit organization is preferred. How to apply
