is looking for a
Recruitment HR Specialist
to join their team. This person will sit
on-site 5 days a week. The
Recruitment HR Specialist
will assist and facilitate the recruitment and HR processes at all business locations in Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley. This person will be responsible for full cycle recruiting, resolving employee issues, benefits management, and maintaining positive employee relations. This position is a
3-month contract-to-hire,
and they are eager to bring someone onto the team long-term after the initial trial period. Must Haves: 2-3 years of Human Resources and Recruitment experience Bilingual - English and Spanish High School Diploma Plusses: Manufacturing preferred (food even better) ADP experience Experience recruiting for skillsets such as: operators, warehouse, mechanics Responsibilities: Manage full cycle recruitment process for all Los Angeles sites (4-5 openings at once) Screening of candidates to qualify skills and fit for the role Work in Excel to keep track of active candidates and interviews in process Manage onboarding of new employees including background checks, preparing new hire files, and Orientation Administrative support to the HR function as needed including record keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS entry Ensures benefits plans are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations Perform customer service functions and employee requests Assist with employee performance, disciplinary communication, and terminations Assist with employee relations including recognition, employee of the month, etc Assist with payroll procedures We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
