Overview Baker Tilly is a leading advisory, tax and assurance firm, providing clients with a coast-to-coast and global advantage in major regions of the U.S. and in many of the world’s leading financial centers. This role is a Senior Sage Intacct Consultant specializing in the Construction Vertical. The main responsibilities involve working directly with clients to deliver software solutions through implementation projects and ongoing support, driving high customer satisfaction and successful adoption.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

Provide prompt, concise, and friendly communications delivering high quality service.

Manage priorities independently and multi-task across projects, customers, and internal activities.

Advocate for clients, team members, and the product.

Work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

Mentor other team members in areas of subject matter expertise.

Monitor and respond to customer technical issues, implementation questions, and informational requests.

Clearly articulate system functionality through written and oral communication.

Coordinate, plan, and lead internal and client project team meetings.

Configure and implement the Sage Intacct software following the prescriptive implementation methodology to achieve in-scope, on-budget, on-time delivery, high customer satisfaction, and successful adoption.

Document customer business requirements into configurable software solutions and business processes using best practices and visual process flowcharts.

Perform gap analysis between system functionality and client requirements; recommend alternatives when necessary.

Design and build industry-specific KPIs, reports, and dashboards.

Conduct training for customer end-users at all levels of the organization and relate system functionality to business operations.

Demonstrate advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros, etc.) for data mapping, integration, and migration.

Deepen knowledge of the Sage Intacct software and stay current with latest product features, especially related to CRE.

Other assignments as requested by management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred), Business, or MIS with foundational accounting concepts.

Deep knowledge of the construction industry, including micro-verticals and terminology.

Three+ years’ experience in Sage Intacct, ERP/financial applications, or other SaaS solutions.

Construction industry experience in accounting or operations.

Sage Intacct Implementation Certification and/or Sage Intacct Construction Certification.

Experience as a client-facing support consultant.

Knowledge of construction-specific payroll requirements.

Hands-on experience with full-cycle software delivery or as an end-user during implementation or upgrades (preferred).

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros) for data mapping and migration.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Compensation The compensation range for this role is $85,910 to $162,890. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
