Digital Operations Consultant

The Digital Operations Consultant is a senior contributor to our field consulting team acting as a subject matter expert in Marketing and Dealer Operations with a deep understanding of the navigation and application of widely used third party tools used to measure the current performance of a dealer’s marketing and sales strategy. The role uses these tools to audit a dealer’s performance across key areas to improve digital operations and marketing efficacy. Responsibilities
Manage the daily activity required to keep dealers in your regional portfolio improving in their digital operations, including: Complete all daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly DOC activities to meet client and internal goals and objectives. Partner with the Program Manager to manage the client regional relationship and provide regular updates to client counterparts in your region. Regularly attend regional group meetings to provide strategic and tactical updates and feedback about current and future DHA events to the client field team in your region with your Program Manager. Participate in all DOC/client update meetings and track/communicate all Digital Health Assessment (DHA) events to regional counterparts and the Program Manager. Contribute as a thought leader and contributor during National Training Meetings, including topic planning and content creation. Provide thought leadership and feedback on trends observed during field meetings to the Lead DOC, supporting DHA program updates and enhancements. Engage with strategic dealers to perform deep-dive analyses of their digital marketing and sales operations, and develop personalized Action Plans to improve Digital Marketing spend efficacy and Sales Operations. Items addressed include: Website load time analysis Website performance and SEO considerations Digital Advertising and Google Analytics Campaign analysis BDC structure, sales operations structure, resources, and organizational design Lead source analysis, email handling, mystery shops, and response analysis Partner optimization with third-party providers and data-driven decision making Digital Health Assessment components to improve dealer performance and accountability Experience, Skills, & Academic
10+ years in the automotive industry with at least 5+ years of retail automotive experience in a management role. Well-developed people-management, mentorship, organizational, and project management skills. Extensive knowledge of automotive dealership processes (sales, fixed operations, business development) and digital marketing including Google Analytics. Previous consulting experience in an automotive environment, with large-group presentation and facilitation abilities. Strong relationship-building abilities and adaptability to multiple personalities within a consulting team and dealership environment. Excellent communication skills, capable of facilitating large groups (up to 500 dealers). Physical Requirements & Work Environment
Ability to travel by air, train, or automobile; valid passport and driver's license required. Ability to drive 14+ hours per week and spend an average of 4 days per week in the field (including overnight travel). Ability to deliver webinars to a national audience (time window typically 8 am EST to 5 pm PST). Job Details
