Organizational Change Management and Communications Leader

Responsibilities
Apply structured change management methodology and lead related activities. Conduct change assessments, create adoption strategies, and implement tools to support project transitions. Lead communication efforts, including crafting and delivering project communications across a wide stakeholder base. Facilitate and lead the Stakeholder Advisory Forum to garner support, elicit requirements, and address stakeholder concerns. Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders. Support training design, documentation, and delivery. Provide input and support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Create actionable deliverables for change management plans, including Sponsor, People Manager, Communications, Training, and Resistance Management Plans. Support and coach project teams, senior leaders, managers, and supervisors. Coordinate efforts with other specialists and integrate change management activities into the overall project plan. Manage stakeholder engagement, readiness evaluations, and risk mitigation. Track and report project issues, measure success metrics, and monitor change progress. Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities. Oversee change management at the organizational level and manage the Change Portfolio. Requirements
Strong experience in Organizational Change Management and Communications leadership. Proven track record in stakeholder engagement across complex projects. Hands-on communication skills with consultant-grade MS PowerPoint proficiency. Ability to conduct impact analyses and readiness assessments. Experience coaching leaders and teams through change. Experience
Experience with State government projects, social services departments, and/or financial management processes is highly preferred. Skills
Change management methodologies and best practices. Exceptional communication and facilitation skills. Risk mitigation and resistance management. Strong organizational and leadership capabilities. Qualification and Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Organizational Development, or related field (Master’s preferred). Change Management certification (e.g., PROSCI) is a plus.
