Job Title: Director, Income Tracking About the team

The Income Tracking department verifies and analyzes royalty payments from US and Canada sources (including PROs, DSPs, record labels, and third-party licensees) to identify non-payment or under-payment. The team also reviews international income for core and production music deals signed outside the US and Canada and collaborates with internal WCM departments to analyze large data sets and pursue adjustments on behalf of our clients. Your role

Under general supervision, with latitude for independent judgment, you will manage and oversee all Income Tracking aspects of the Administration Department and lead a four-person team. Responsibilities

Lead the group in all departmental functions, including system development, customization of technology to meet objectives, system implementation, and operation Set clear priorities, objectives with paths to completion, and deadlines for the department Understand and use systems critical to income tracking (including Tableau Online, Monday.com, Alteryx, etc.) Identify areas of underreporting and develop systematic approaches to monitor and collect in these areas Manage task distribution and workload to meet departmental objectives Provide accurate data and analysis to other departments, executives, clients, and outside parties as needed Maintain deep knowledge of internal reporting systems to perform research and guide the team Improve methods for collecting missing income amid the evolving music publishing landscape Prepare correspondence, attend/lead staff meetings, perform assigned tasks, and prepare requisite reports Partner with Royalty, Executive, and/or Business Affairs to review client issues and coordinate adjudication and settlements as needed Collaborate with Copyright, Licensing, Creative, and Finance to verify information on releases, license status, and payments for royalties projections and budget forecasting Lead department interactions with third-party partners to enhance collection efforts Perform other duties as needed to achieve departmental objectives Handle ad hoc income tracking requests from internal and external sources, prioritize work, and manage deadlines to ensure accuracy and timeliness About you

Five (5) or more years of professional experience in Music Publishing Administration within an Income Tracking department, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory capacity Preferably a degree in accounting or business administration Nice to have

Experience with Alteryx and/or Tableau Additional qualifications in business administration or management About us
