Asset Protection Specialist role at The Home Depot. The Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud and supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store or stores. They utilize tools to minimize loss to the Company, including identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring the store's physical security, auditing the Electronic Article Surveillance, and driving a shrink elimination culture in the store. They prepare accurate and detailed case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries, preserve evidence, interact with law enforcement, and testify in criminal and civil court actions. The Asset Protection Specialist must report hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty and carry out responsibilities in a manner that minimizes risk of injury to themselves, associates, vendors, customers, and the Company. They demonstrate integrity at all times, respond to asset protection and operational concerns of all associates, and stay focused on store-specific business objectives while supporting asset protection and operational responsibilities. Responsibilities

Prevent financial loss caused by theft and fraud; support safety and environmental program compliance. Identify incidents of theft and fraud, review CCTV and exception reports, monitor store security. Audit Electronic Article Surveillance and drive a shrink-elimination culture in the store. Prepare accurate and detailed case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries; preserve evidence. Interact with law enforcement and testify in criminal and civil court actions as needed. Report hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty; minimize risk of injury to people and property. Maintain integrity at all times and address asset protection and operational concerns of associates. Qualifications / Requirements

Experience or ability to perform asset protection tasks in a retail environment. Strong attention to detail, investigative mindset, and ability to document incidents clearly. Ability to interact with law enforcement and testify in relevant proceedings. Commitment to safety, integrity, and adherence to store objectives. Employment details
