BCBA Position that is IN PERSON IN FORT LAUDERDALE
THIS POSITION IS IN PERSON FOR 5% SUPERVISION AND 2-6 HOURS OF PARENT TRAINING PER MONTH ON A CLIENT WHO HAS 35 HOURS PER WEEK IN SCHOOL.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. This role involves conducting diagnostic evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing behavioral therapy to enhance the quality of life for our clients. The BCBA will work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and other professionals to implement effective strategies tailored to each individual's needs.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral challenges and develop individualized treatment plans.
Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions using principles of applied behavior analysis.
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Provide training and support to families, caregivers, and staff on behavioral strategies and interventions.
Maintain accurate records of client progress in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and share insights regarding client development.
Advocate for clients’ needs within the community and promote awareness of developmental disabilities.
Requirements Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) is required.
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism.
Proficiency in applied behavior analysis techniques and behavioral therapy practices.
Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and patient care protocols.
Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations effectively.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient confidentiality and data protection.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Compassionate approach towards working with individuals with disabilities, demonstrating patience and empathy.
