Meet the team: Our EHSS department is growing, and we need motivated individuals who are ready for a challenge as we continue to expand and grow the EHSS culture globally across our many Dexcom locations. This position will report to the Global EHSS Manager of the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) team. Functions of this position will include assisting in the design and development of Global EHSS programs and policies, aiding sites with the implementation of global programs/policies, participate in the internal EHSS audit program, and continually grow their knowledge and skills as an EHSS professional.

Where you come in: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with regulatory authorities, government officials and senior executives within the organization. Ability to identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices in the workplace and propose sustainable solutions. Ability to develop corporate level EHSS standards with minimal assistance. Professional communication skills with ability to effectively deal with persons at all levels within the organization. Act as a subject matter expert in the development and implementation of global level EHSS programs and policies. As a part of Global OHS team, you will be participating and leading site gap assessments and audits while working closely with our site EHS teams to identify areas of improvement and action plans. There will be opportunities to be involved in projects for new sites and learn about EHS design standards for manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse, and office spaces. What makes you successful: Your ability to work independently with prescribed guidelines, or as a team member. Comfortable in a group setting with ability to lead discussions and give presentations to internal and cross functional leaders. Ability to always maintain a professional attitude. In depth knowledge of EHS laws, standards, codes, and regulatory requirements. Good interpersonal skills to work cross functionally between different departments and globally across different cultures. Excellent customer service skills with advanced understanding of relationship building. Strong facilitation and communication skills. Proficient use of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). ASP, CSP, CIH or other professional certification is preferred. Become knowledgeable in ISO 14001 and 45001 standards and EHS management systems. Experience and Education

Typically requires a Bachelors degree and a minimum of 5-8 years of related experience. Exempt Salary Details:

The annual base salary range for this role is $78,900.00 to $131,500.00. Final compensation package will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, business needs and market demand. #J-18808-Ljbffr
