Willing to support a global operation working non-traditional business hours (early mornings, late nights, overnights, weekends, holidays) Practice safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures Provide exceptional customer service Manage unexpected changes in a time-sensitive and stressful environment Answer questions and assist customers, particularly those with unique needs Demonstrate punctuality and reliability by reporting to duty as scheduled Remain adaptable to last-minute schedule adjustments and operational demands Demonstrate the use of safety and emergency equipment and ensure safety requirements are met Administer and coordinate emergency procedures or provide emergency care when needed (e.g., CPR, basic first aid) Respond with clear directions to customers in emergencies Prepare, serve, and sell beverages (including alcohol) and meals Assist customers in lifting and stowing luggage Ensure safety and comfort during delays or turbulence Regularly make public address and safety announcements in compliance with standards Be capable of performing duties in changing environments, including altitude effects Minimum Qualifications
Eligibility to work in the U.S. Be at least 21 years of age at time of application High school diploma, GED, or High School Equivalency Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently Ability to acquire and maintain a passport; travel documents to freely enter/exit places where Delta flies; valid passport with at least 30 months remaining before training; non-U.S. passport holders must demonstrate ability to exit/enter the U.S. without restriction Complete a pre-employment DOT drug test and comprehensive background check Ability to sit in a jump seat with seatbelt fastened Ability to open emergency exits and operate doors and carts as required Privacy is a priority when handling personal data Diversity and inclusion mindset Safety and security of self and others prioritised Flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed Physically demanding role with standing, walking, bending, lifting, and related activities Ability to reach overhead storage up to 74 inches Willingness to be assigned to any Flight Attendant base after training; bilingual/LOD candidates must stay within their base for a minimum of 2 years Attend and complete 7 consecutive weeks of paid training in Atlanta, GA Relocation or standby travel flexibility to assigned base; ability to fly international and domestic routes Willingness to adapt to scheduling changes on short notice Adherence to all corporate policies, including appearance and recruitment guidelines Preferred Qualifications
