Lead Teacher, HR Children's Center

– Boston, MA The Lead Teacher role has the primary responsibility of ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom. The Lead Teacher supports the Center's mission and philosophy, provides a nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment that meets the cognitive, emotional, social, and physical needs of young children, develops and maintains family relationships, collaborates with a co-teaching team, and participates in ongoing professional development. The Lead Teacher must abide by all EEC licensing standards and all policies and procedures in the employee handbook. Responsibilities

Ensure safety and well-being of children in the classroom. Support the Center’s mission and philosophy. Provide a nurturing, consistent, developmentally appropriate environment. Meet children’s cognitive, emotional, social, and physical needs. Develop and maintain family relationships. Collaborate with co‑teaching team. Engage in continuous professional development. Adhere to all EEC licensing standards and Center policies and procedures. Required Skills and Qualifications

Lead Teacher Certified by MA Department of Early Education and Care (EEC). Bachelor’s degree or Associate Degree in child development, early childhood education, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in an early childhood setting. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with others. Reliable and conscientious. Computer skills (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Kaymbu, COR Advantage). Willingness to increase knowledge in the field. Certificate of CPR and first aid training (recommended).
