Provide technical support for the assessment of compliance of information systems with DoD RMF standards (review, verify and validate required DoD IA RMF documentation and artifacts using DoDI 8510.01/DoD Risk Management Framework). Develop Cyber-secure Network device configurations (firewalls, switches, routers). Support the C2BMC Program as a primary Network Security Engineer. Plan, deploy, integrate, and test upgrades to the C2BMC network at operational sites. Conduct independent research on networking and security topics and produce reports on findings. Ensure teams’ devices are STIGs compliant and appropriately hardened; run required cyber protocols. What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience, or Master’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience. Active Secret clearance required to start. Active IAT Level II Certification (Security+ or equivalent) required to start. Understanding of OSI Model, TCP/IP, VLANs, UDP Multicast. Firewall configuration knowledge (Juniper, Cisco, Palo Alto). Knowledge of ACL design and function. Hands-on experience with multi-vendor switching/routing (Juniper, Cisco). Excellent written and oral communication skills with Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio drawing tools. Ability to design security configurations and testing procedures. Familiarity with NIST CVE framework. Experience with virtualization. Ability to work collaboratively in a team with other network and system engineers. Intermediate knowledge of security design, development, and testing methodologies. Experience applying DoD security practices (STIG compliance and system accreditation efforts). Strong documentation skills for project design and development efforts. Ability to collaborate with other departments to explain security requirements and compliance. Willingness to learn security hardening for a wide range of products, software, and applications. Ability to summarize, brief, and recommend solutions to security issues to leadership. Basic familiarity with VMware and ESXi STIGing/Hardening. Preferred

Scripting knowledge (Python, Ansible, PowerShell). Solid understanding of JUNOS. Prior C2BMC experience. Compensation

Salary Range:
