We believe in investing in our employees’ growth and development, and as such, we are seeking a dedicated Technical Trainer to join our growing FS team. Job Summary As a Technical Trainer, you will play a vital role in educating and developing our Field Service workforce. You will be responsible for delivering, teaching, evaluating, and developing the technical skills and knowledge of our FS employees in electrical system testing, equipment start-up & commissioning processes. This position is responsible for onboarding and training new field service employees during their 4-week orientation. In addition to new hire training, this position will train and qualify employees to work on or near energized electrical equipment. Key Responsibilities

Manage the training itinerary to provide new FS employees with the skills required to enable their success in the field. Training areas include mechanical assembly, wiring, start-up testing, trouble shooting skills, software tools, networking and communications, report writing, and commissioning. Maintain all training records for Field Service personnel. Communicate with production, field service leadership, engineering, and technicians to identify areas for improvement in the current program. Coordinate with shop leads and managers to facilitate production training. Evaluate the performance of Trainees' reports, strengths, and deficiencies. Coordinate and facilitate practical exercises and lab sessions to provide trainees with real-world experience in working with electrical equipment, tools, and technologies. Evaluate trainees’ performance, comprehension, and skills development through assessments, quizzes, and practical exercises, providing constructive feedback and support as needed. Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions through various methods including classroom instruction, hands-on demonstrations, workshops, and online modules. Continuously review and help enhance the FS training program based on feedback, evaluation results, support employee development initiatives and alignment with organizational goals. Ensure training content remains current and relevant. Collaborate with the FS-Technical Manager and internal stakeholders to identify training needs, help develop learning objectives and support employee development initiatives. Qualifications

Two-year Technical degree in Engineering or related field experience. Must be a team player and detail oriented. Power Product production, electrical testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and problem-solving skills are desired. Efficiency in using training tools, software, and multimedia resources. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Ability to effectively engage and motivate trainees of diverse backgrounds and skill levels. Previous experience in training, teaching or instruction is preferred. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proven experience in the electrical manufacturing industry, with a minimum 2 years of relevant work experience. Travel up to 25% is required. Compensation

The hourly range for this role is $31.90 - $41.90 per hour, based on location, experience, and qualifications. Why Join IEM
