JOB DESCRIPTION Rob Sand’s campaign for Governor of Iowa is hiring a Digital Organizing Director to lead our efforts to recruit, train, and mobilize volunteers online. This position will design and implement digital programs that connect Iowans to the campaign, expand our supporter base, and turn online energy into real-world action.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and oversee the campaign’s digital organizing program, including volunteer recruitment, training, and engagement.
Manage relational organizing tools, texting programs, and online events to reach and mobilize supporters.
Develop strategies to integrate digital organizing with field and communications teams.
Track and analyze metrics to measure impact and refine tactics.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in digital or field organizing, ideally on political campaigns.
Familiarity with digital tools such as Mobilize, VAN, relational organizing apps, and texting platforms.
Strong communication and training skills.
Knowledge of Iowa’s political landscape a plus.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced campaign environment.
