This position describes the responsibilities, qualifications, and expectations for a Station Support Engineer II who supports IT services at Frontier Airlines across a subset of airports and collaborates with airline personnel, airport stakeholders, and vendors. What Will You Be Doing?

The primary role of a Station Support Engineer II is to own and assist in the supervision of IT services for a subset of medium to large-sized airports serviced by Frontier Airlines. This includes leading the investigation and resolution of complex endpoint, telecommunications, and network connectivity issues unique to the airline industry. The engineer may also own service requests involving computer and operating system problems, approved software installations, desktop hardware deployment, and assistance with operator difficulties. The role requires interfacing with internal teams, airport personnel, and vendors, evaluating cost-effective solutions, prioritizing issues, and managing travel schedules. Essential Functions

Lead deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of endpoints including printers, workstations, laptops, tablets, cellphones, kiosks, networks, VoIP, and air-to-ground radio devices Manage technical investigations and root cause analysis to resolve complex IT issues impacting operations at airports, training and support facilities, hangars, and branch offices Perform configuration, deployment and troubleshooting of Windows OS, iOS, and macOS nodes Provide hands-on support for technology backups, maintenance, imaging, OS updates, system upgrades, and restores Provide hands-on support for implementing, testing, labeling, troubleshooting, and documenting low-voltage Ethernet and fiber optics cabling Perform administration of Active Directory including OU, user accounts, computer accounts, security groups, and Group Policy Build relationships with business leadership and collaborate with business partners and vendors to align IT operations with business objectives Perform site surveys and develop implementation plans for infrastructure projects to support airport openings, closings, and modifications Assume ownership and accountability for a large subset of Frontier locations Work cross-functionally with internal and external IT departments, business units, facilities, vendors, and stakeholders to complete project deliverables on time Track projects and service tickets via ticket management platforms, email, and phone Enhance Business Continuity documents and lead Disaster Recovery operations in the field Document the location and interconnection of IT equipment at airports using Microsoft Visio Develop and implement IT and business processes to ensure standardization across locations Promote adherence to IT standards, security policies, and corporate compliance regulations Assess and prioritize network circuit deliverables, perform network equipment deployments, and preventative maintenance to meet operational standards Direct the activities of other IT personnel on network-related issue resolution and project work Serve as an escalation resource for junior IT support personnel, business, and IT management Investigate IT problems and trends, determine course of action, and own the issue until closed Identify root causes of network connectivity problems and troubleshoot using IT principles and diagnostic tools Analyze network traffic for patterns, anomalies, and bandwidth utilization Monitor network performance of stations to determine usage and whether configuration adjustments or circuit upgrades are needed Collect and evaluate LAN/WAN data to optimize resource allocation during planning and post-implementation Define station-specific requirements for installation and testing of LAN/WAN circuits, routers, switches, controllers, UPSs, and related equipment Other Functions

Adhere to documented change management processes to protect production environment Supervise service ticket loads and ensure response-time SLAs are met Research and recommend new technologies Perform supply chain management tasks Other duties as assigned Qualifications

CompTIA A+ or Network+ Certification (Required) CCNA (a plus) Microsoft Certified Professional, or equivalent experience Troubleshooting knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies 2+ years of experience planning IT projects 2+ years of experience supporting Active Directory 5+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Windows 10 5+ years of experience with PC hardware, VOIP, printers, and software deployments 5+ years of experience supporting network devices (WAPs, switches, routers) Fiber Optic Technician, High Voltage Safety, or Low Voltage Certification a plus Bachelor’s degree: 5+ years of related IT experience and education may be considered in lieu of degree Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

High aptitude for learning modern technologies High aptitude for troubleshooting workstations’ hardware and software Experience with structured cabling implementations (IEEE 802.3) Experience with Wireless Access Point configurations and implementations Experience with wired and wireless CCTV systems; AXIS certification a plus Experience with workstation and network equipment cable management Detail-oriented IT professional with strong security practices Experience with incident management tracking systems Ability to facilitate teamwork and collaboration Ability to adapt to changing situations Ability to schedule activities and meet deadlines Basic knowledge of the airline industry is helpful Excellent social skills; ability to build rapport Ability to work autonomously Equipment Operated
