Senior Geologist - Geologic Modeler

EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC . This hybrid position can report to our Albuquerque, NM, Denver, CO, or Hunt Valley, MD office. The ideal candidate will support environmental investigations and remedial design efforts by building geologically sound and spatially accurate 3D visualizations using EVS (Earth Volumetric Studio). Develop high-quality 3D geologic models and visualizations using EVS. Translate lithologic, geophysical, and environmental data into interpretable subsurface models. Apply geologic principles to define stratigraphy, grain-size distributions, and aquifer characteristics. Interface with hydrogeologists, ESS practitioners, and groundwater modelers to align 3D models with site-specific hydrogeologic frameworks. Assist in data integration across platforms including GIS and flow models. Contribute to CERCLA investigations, feasibility studies, and remedial design via subsurface modeling. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver technical solutions and project insights. Required Qualifications

B.S. in Geology or Geological Engineering 5+ years of applied experience in geological modeling and environmental investigations Proven expertise in EVS software and cross-platform data integration (e.g., GIS, MODFLOW) Strong understanding of hydrogeologic principles, grain-size analysis, and lithologic classification Excellent technical writing, critical thinking, and communication skills Self-motivated, collaborative, and adaptable to dynamic project needs Desired Qualifications

PG, PE, or relevant certification Note: This position requires specific driving duties. You must be able to pass a motor vehicle records check required by our insurer. Drug Screen Statement: Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen. Pay Range $90,000—$130,000 USD The EA pay range for this position is intended as a general guideline and does not guarantee specific compensation or salary.
