Hybrid - Boston, MA or Charlotte, NC Compensation:
$120,000 - $160,000 annually Summary:
Our client, a leading national distributor, is seeking a Network Optimization Manager to optimize the physical flow of goods across their distribution network. This role focuses on improving transportation efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing service levels through data-driven network design and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities
Lead network modeling, scenario planning, and capacity analysis Analyze and optimize physical distribution flow paths across the supply chain Develop channel recommendations to improve delivery speed, cost, and reliability Collaborate with logistics, transportation, and warehouse teams to align network strategy Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities across the distribution network Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement in network performance Support strategic initiatives such as new facility placement or route redesign Manage relationships with carriers, 3PLs, and other logistics partners Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field 5+ years of experience in supply chain network design or logistics optimization Strong analytical skills and experience with modeling tools (e.g., Llamasoft, Tableau, Excel) Knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations Experience with ERP and TMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, Blue Yonder) Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Project management experience and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
