Sentinel (GBSD) Principal / Sr Principal Systems Engineer (580-3) – Roy, UT. This role supports the Sentinel program within Northrop Grumman Defense Systems. The position may offer relocation assistance. Clearance: Secret. Travel: Yes, up to 10%. What You'll Get To Do

The selected engineer will be responsible for multiple tasks within requirements, verification, and interfaces for the Aerospace Vehicle Equipment (AVE) Segment. Tasks include interface definition, requirement decomposition, compliance tracking, verification planning and verification execution. Responsibilities

Requirement development, decomposition, and refinement based on knowledge of the functional architecture and performance budgets Ensure architecture is consistent with requirements decomposition Verification planning for the AVE segment requirements, transitioning into verification execution including development and review of verification artifacts, requirement verification reports, and management of the approval process Lead development of key interface artifacts for the GBSD Missile (AVE): Interface Control Documents (ICD), Interface Description Documents (IDD), and Interface Requirements Specifications (IRS); contribute content to MBSE model Support environmental requirement development and test strategy Support incremental CDR execution culminating in an AVE CDR (including CDR execution, RvC development, readiness assessment) Support flight design review (FDR) Support element system engineers in development of element-level requirements, verification plans, and CDR/IDR execution Collaborate across system functions and disciplines; gain familiarity with all aspects of the Missile program Basic Qualifications

This requisition may be filled at either Principal Systems Engineer (T-03) or Sr Principal Systems Engineer (T-04). Principal Systems Engineer : Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of experience with Bachelor's, 3 years with Master’s, 1 year with PhD Sr. Principal Systems Engineer : Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related experience; 6 years with Master’s; 4 years with PhD Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance (current within last 6 years) Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval 2 years of Systems Engineering experience required 2+ years working in requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS) Preferred Qualifications

Experience modeling with Cameo Enterprise Architecture or MagicDraw (No Magic, Inc.) or other architecture modeling tools 4+ years of Systems Engineering experience Experience with DoDAF and UPDM or UAF Profiles Experience with complex system development on large programs Experience with flight hardware Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written Position Benefits
