Data Scientist - Expert with Security Clearance
Royce Geo, a GRVTY Company, exists to answer challenges in defense, intelligence, homeland security, and other areas. We are looking for an Expert Data Scientist to support cross-functional operations spanning custom product creation, data integrity, DLA support, and CADRG development. This position will focus on developing and implementing automation solutions to streamline workflows, enhance digital transfer processes, and optimize GEOINT content delivery across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have DoD/C/NGA-specific experience and serve as technical lead for automating cross-functional workflows, optimizing digital transfers, and modernizing production processes. Required Qualifications: TS/SCI Clearance w/CI Poly Eligible Minimum of 18 years combined experience (A combination of years of experience & professional certifications/trainings can be used in lieu of a degree) BS in related Field with Graduate level work Expert proficiency in Python and other programming languages applicable to automation development. Demonstrated experience designing and implementing workflow automation systems Advanced experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for geospatial data Expertise in integrating disparate systems through API development and implementation Experience developing and deploying enterprise-scale automation solutions Knowledge of NGA's Foundation GEOINT products, data types, and delivery methods Demonstrated experience with database design, implementation, and optimization Experience with digital media generation systems and automated content delivery platforms Ability to analyze existing workflows and develop technical solutions to streamline processes Knowledge of DLA systems and interfaces, particularly MEBS and WebFLIS Expertise in data quality assurance and validation methodologies Experience with geospatial data processing, transformation, and delivery automation Proficiency with ArcGIS tools, GEODEC and ACCORD software systems Understanding of cartographic principles and standards for CADRG/ECRG products Strong analytical skills for identifying workflow inefficiencies and implementing solutions Desired Qualifications: Certification(s) in relevant automation technologies or programming languages Experience with DevOps practices and C/CD implementation Knowledge of cloud-based automation solutions and their implementation in government environments Experience with machine learning applications for GEOINT Workflow optimization Expertise in data analytics and visualization for workflow performance metrics Understanding of NGA's enterprise architecture and integration points Experience implementing RPA (Robotic Process Automation) solutions Knowledge of secure coding practices and cybersecurity principles Demonstrated expertise in digital transformation initiatives Experience mentoring junior staff in automation techniques and best practices Background in agile development methodologies Understanding of human-centered design principles for workflow optimization Royce Geo, A GRVTY Company, is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
