Data Scientist

Rose International is seeking a Data Scientist to develop analyses that support product development analytics, aftermarket analytics, demand forecasting analytics, and other strategic analytics areas of focus. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a similar field, and at least 2 years of professional experience utilizing quantitative analysis. Required skills include: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience utilizing quantitative analysis Knowledge of Snowflake, SQL coding, Power BI, and Excel Proficiency in work order analysis and competitive landscape assessment Strong analytical skills to identify trends and opportunities Strong initiative, interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively Preferred skills include: Experience with advanced data analysis and statistical methods Practical applications of machine learning techniques Experience in design/development of heavy equipment Strong technical and problem-solving skills and evidence of continuous learning in the analytics field 2+ years of experience applying Python programming to solve business challenges Experience with cloud technologies Responsibilities will include: Pull, analyze data, create Power BI dashboards, and work with teams to create dashboards used to communicate and update business partners Participate on cross-functional project teams to solve problems presented by Business Units or Service Organizations, Dealers, or Customers Contribute to the solution in assigned areas, applying theory and concept to deliver results Demonstrate an expanded breadth of knowledge and the ability to handle basic issues independently Rose International is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
