Senior Business Intelligence Engineer Seattle, Washington. We are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to join a fast-paced, data-driven team focused on understanding customer behavior at scale. This role sits at the intersection of technology, marketing, finance, statistics, data mining, and social sciencesupporting initiatives that directly shape business strategy and customer experience. You will be responsible for evaluating program and feature performance, conducting statistical testing, and developing insights that guide strategic decisions. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on data analysis, making it ideal for a self-starter with strong analytical skills, a working knowledge of A/B testing, and experience in building metrics and reports. Responsibilities
Evaluate the performance of program features and marketing content along measures of customer response, use, conversion, and retention Design and execute statistical tests for A/B and multivariate experiments Design, build, and maintain metrics and reports on program health Respond to ad hoc requests to investigate critical aspects of customer behavior, such as feature usage, customer profiles, and unusual patterns Employ data mining, model building, segmentation, and other analytical techniques to capture important customer trends Participate in strategic and tactical planning discussions Top Required Skills
Data Analysis Ability to analyze large, complex datasets to derive actionable insights Statistical Testing Experience designing and executing A/B or multivariate tests Data Visualization Ability to build metrics and reporting tools to communicate findings effectively Skills & Experience Required
7+ years of experience working with large-scale complex datasets Strong analytical mindset with the ability to decompose business requirements into analytical plans and execute them Strong working knowledge of SQL Background (academic or professional) in statistics, programming, and marketing Graduate degree in math/statistics, computer science, or a related field is highly desirable Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and business audiences Preferred Qualifications
