$82 per hour Responsibilities
The IT Project Manager leads project teams to deliver key business initiatives, ensuring goals, scope, deliverables, and tasks are on time and meet standards. Works with the IT PMO, sponsors, and owners to assemble and manage technical project teams, ensure quality control, standardized deliverables, and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle; plan, evaluate, and execute projects per predefined objectives, scope, timelines, and requirements; identify roadblocks and risks and escalate as needed. Lead dynamic project assignments from initial assessment through completion by coordinating diverse disciplines. Craft comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets; negotiate resources with functional managers and build a team dedicated to project success. Prioritize tasks to maintain productivity, quality, and customer service goals; collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure alignment. Monitor and track project progress; provide regular updates to stakeholders on milestones and achievements. Collaborate within the PMO to support process improvements, foster collaboration, and report on portfolio and IT metrics. Essential duties
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks with proactive problem-solving and conflict resolution. Demonstrate strong leadership and stakeholder management to assemble, manage, and motivate diverse project teams. Define scope, schedule, budget, changes, risks; document communication, change management, and escalation plans; lead meetings and coordinate activities; manage expectations and ensure training for resources. Provide regular status updates and ensure project management software tools are current; obtain sign-off for phase and project completion; document outcomes and lessons learned. Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience Typically 10 years of IT project management experience in relevant industries Advanced project management skills with proficiency in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall and tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or PPM Pro Hands-on technical IT project management experience across applications and infrastructure; PMI PMP certification highly preferred; ability to engage with global teams across regions Additional Requirements (Soft Skills)
Ability to lead technical projects with limited direction; adapt to shifting priorities and timelines; strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills; ability to elicit cooperation across management, clients, and departments Customer-focused, proactive, proactive in driving project completion; strong time management and organizational abilities; ability to manage relationships with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders Ability to understand business IT context to inform key project decisions and build rapport with project teams Additional Notes
