The Project Architect position is “the” crucial protagonist and leader in the delivery process of a successful design project. The position must be highly skilled at balancing technical requirements and expectations with design vision and intent. Maintaining that equilibrium is a priority. The Project Architect drives collaboration with the entire internal and external project team, maximizes the use of all available resources, coordinates and integrates technical products – always working within the agreed budget, hours and schedule parameters. The role is an integration point for identifying and implementing industry best practices – driving to holistically sound design projects. The Project Architect is responsible for the design, planning, and development of Building projects under the collective supervision of the Project Manager and Architecture Studio Leader. This role involves supervising the project team, collaborating closely with clients, engineers, consultants and other stakeholders to create innovative and functional designs that meet client needs and comply with all relevant regulations. This position will oversee projects from the initial concept through completion, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and within the agreed timelines and budgets. The role must collaborate within a multi-disciplined team environment and maximize the use of resources. Assists Designer and design team in completion of schematic design and design development documents. Assumes leadership role in Construction Documents and Bidding phases and assists in Construction Administration. Responsible for directing and coordinating assigned personnel and consultants. Keeps Project Manager fully informed of the production and project status. Essential Functions

Develop architectural designs from the initial concept through final construction documents. Create detailed drawings and specifications using Revit and other design software. Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations. Coordinate with clients, engineers, consultants, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives. Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with design specifications and resolve any issues that arise during construction. Execute project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively as generated by the Project Manager. Provide technical support and guidance to project teams throughout all phases of the project. Review and approve construction drawings, specifications, and submittals. Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and accuracy. Assist the Project Manager as an additional point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Assist the Project Manager in presenting design concepts and project updates to clients and stakeholders. Address client concerns and provide solutions to any issues that arise. Integrate sustainable design principles into projects to minimize environmental impact. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure innovative design solutions. Participate in professional development and continuing education opportunities to maintain licensure and stay current with industry advancements. Qualifications

Required Experience Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited institution. A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in architectural design and project management. Licensed Architect (RA) Experience with various types of projects, including pubic, institutional, civic, education, healthcare, etc. Required Skills Proficiency in Revit and other architectural design software including Autodesk FormIt. Clear understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction methodologies Excellent design and visualization skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), TEAMS and MS Planner (task management). Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning software (Deltek, Unanet, etc.) preferred. Knowledge of sustainable design principles and LEED accreditation (preferred).
