Project Engineer - MSP

Job Description As a Projects Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various projects within our organization. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to effectively communicate with team members and clients. Responsibilities Lead and manage multiple/concurrent IT infrastructure projects from initial planning through execution and completion. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets. Monitor, document, and track project progress, identifying potential risks or issues and implementing appropriate solutions. Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders. Evaluate project outcomes and identify areas for improvement, implementing process enhancements when necessary. Ensure deliverables meet technical quality, cost & schedule objectives. Maintain accurate documentation standards throughout the execution of a project including detailed work records, time records, and technical documentation records. Be an escalation point for the Service Delivery team and assist with complex support tickets with urgency and consideration. Excellent communication, mentoring, interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate with senior management, peers, and employees. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred and 1+ year of related experience executing IT projects. Previous experience working on small, medium, and large-scale IT projects for customers having up to 3,000 users and multiple locations. Must have at least 2 technical certifications from the following – Microsoft MCSE/MCSA/MCSD, Azure Administrator Associate, Security Administrator Associate, Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Cisco CCIE/CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA cloud+/A+/Network+, AWS certified solutions architect, VMWare VCP, ITILv4, Certified Ethical Hacker, CISSP Excellent communication, collaboration, team engagement, documentation, and organizational skills. 3 or more years of experience and knowledge of MSP technology solutions, including, Microsoft Server and Desktop, Active Directory, SharePoint/OneDrive, Azure AD (Now Entra), Apple MacOS, and Cisco Networking. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where multiple projects are being developed and deployed simultaneously. Ability to work after hours/weekends with up to 25% travel as needed.
