About the Role: Participates in establishing and implementing the company's commercial data strategy, governance, systems, and operational data management. Responsible for developing processes, systems, and tools to deliver data to a broad range of internal functional areas including Field Operations, Commercial Insights & Analytics, Market Access, Finance, Supply Chain, Legal, Compliance, and Medical Affairs. Ensures delivery of data management functions including data acquisition and contracting, data governance, data aggregation, QC, master data management, and data warehousing. Understands the marketplace, competition, customers, payers, IT, and product dynamics to manage and execute our data management strategy. May partner with leaders or members of all teams that consume data to understand their operational requirements and balance immediate demands with future capabilities for scalable, timely data access. Works closely with cross-functional internal teams and external vendors to deliver core capabilities.
Your Contributions
Directs the activities of a sub-function within the Data Management team, including supervision of subordinates at the Analyst and Manager level, on processes, systems, and operations to onboard and deliver accurate data to users.
Works on contracts with external data suppliers, ensuring quality and appropriate use across the organization. Periodically reviews data assets to ensure Neurocrine derives value from data-related investments.
Maintains an accurate inventory of all data assets.
Leads areas such as:
Data aggregation, including management of partners and delivery of related patient portal solutions and dashboards.
Commercial data warehousing, including management of partners and data feeds to downstream parties and BI platforms.
Master data management for HCPs, HCOs, Payers, etc., and related data stewardship and change management.
Internally developed data management platforms to support various business use cases.
Leads data quality control (QC) standards and processes. Ensures appropriate testing when changes occur and/or new data is onboarded.
Leads internal data governance processes and communicates data-related issues to key stakeholders.
Serves as a consultative advisor to internal data consumers and evaluates new data sources based on business needs.
Ensures deliverables are accurate, complete, and timely and implemented in a compliant manner aligned to internal customers and corporate goals. Proactively resolves data issues and communicates status to all users. Investigates inquiries from internal and field-based teams.
Maintains and identifies opportunities to enhance data management systems and processes to deliver operational excellence and efficiency.
Selects, leads, develops, mentors, and evaluates staff to ensure efficient operation of the function.

Qualifications
BS/BA in business, science or quantitative disciplines with 10+ years in data management and/or field operations support, with experience across launch and mature brands; CNS experience preferred, OR
Master’s degree or MBA with 8+ years of relevant experience, as noted above.
Previous managerial or functional management experience required.
Broad understanding of processes, procedures, and systems used to accomplish the team’s work; familiarity with related disciplines.
Deep understanding of how data management integrates within the function and contributes to business objectives.
Demonstrated understanding of global commercial organizations.
Strong financial and analytical acumen; computer/IT skills.
Strong customer service, interpersonal skills, creativity, adaptability, and self-motivation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent project management and decision-making abilities.
Leadership skills and ability to build collaborative relationships.
Strong technical and business expertise in commercial data management functions, including data acquisition, master data management, and data warehousing.
Experience with supporting both launch and mature brands; familiarity with IT capabilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Office applications; knowledge of systems/tools such as Veeva, Tableau, Qlik, etc.

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $168,400.00-$243,700.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, role complexity and responsibility, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. This position offers an annual bonus with a target of 30% of base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program. Benefits include retirement savings with company match, paid vacation, holidays and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits (medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision) in accordance with applicable plans.
