The Skunk Works (Lockheed Martin Advanced Development Program) is looking for world class talent in SYSTEMS FIELD ENGINEERING to join a team that will continue our history of advanced aircraft development. Responsibilities

As a System Engineer you will provide technical services and guidance on installation, upgrades, maintenance, configuration management and mission operations of Unmanned Air System (UAS) Ground Control Stations (GCS). You will: Provide expertise for resolving technical problems, troubleshoot products and modify them to customer requirements. Provide training to customers. Be an integral member of a technical team responsible for overseeing a complex mission system during operations and confer with a broader engineering team regarding anomalies in system operation. As part of the team, you will: Help design, develop, integrate and test a variety of mission system equipment onto airborne platforms. Perform hands‑on activities by building and installing electrical and mechanical components including cable assemblies, computer systems and voice/data communication devices. Organize and manage multiple prototype development areas and use special test equipment for verification of system functionality. You will actively contribute to the team developing several systems including System Integration Labs, Deployable Shelters, and Fixed Facilities in support of various projects. You will work with Hardware Engineering, Platform Engineering, Software Engineering, and Integration/Test teams to develop a flexible test facility and lead maintenance, upgrades, and build‑up efforts on legacy and new systems, on or ahead of schedule and within proposed budgets. You will support Hardware Engineering Lead when traveling to ensure local efforts stay coordinated and issues are resolved. You will contribute as part of the Hardware Engineering team, developing systems including System Integration Labs (SILs), Deployable Systems, and Fixed Facility systems across several projects. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree in STEM or related field (preferably Electrical Engineering) OR equivalent and applicable system admin/IT experience in lieu of degree. Security+ Certification. DOD Top Secret Clearance. Must be willing to travel and work any shift to support customer and test needs. Desired Skills: UAV Technology Experience. Admin experience with Cisco, Juniper, Linux or RHEL, Windows, Windows Server, ESXi, networking. Network administration and troubleshooting of networks and computers. Aircraft modification experience and avionic integration. Technical report writing and experience operating/maintaining support equipment. Knowledge/experience with integrated logistics support and engineering technician roles. Linux/Unix administration. Willingness to travel and work varied shifts. Security Clearance Statement:

This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
