The Lead Scrum Master is a key member of the Digital Assets Data squad within the Digital Assets team. The role applies a broad technical knowledge of Agile methodology to manage the scrum process with geographically dispersed teams, ensuring quality and timely, predictable delivery. The Lead Scrum Master coordinates cross-functional activities, maintains requirements traceability, release management, test case management, and defect tracking to keep delivery on track. The Lead Scrum Master will be the point person for development activities related to the platforms supported by the team (e.g., Sigma Computing, Power BI and Snowflake). Responsibilities

Coach Product Owner and squad to maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog with refined user stories Balance delivery timeframes with continuous iteration to incorporate customer feedback Participate in Scrum of Scrums to align priorities, dependencies, and timelines Provide role-based coaching (PO, QA, Dev, etc.) and facilitate coaching sessions with the squad Coach the squad to consider how vision affects other interacting squads Create a safe environment for ceremonies to encourage active participation Facilitate and mediate conflicts within the squad and reporting Ensure accurate and open communications with stakeholders using concise metrics and updates on progress, risks, and impediments Support Product Owner on release planning Coordinate movement of code between Development, Testing, UAT and Production environments and related planning, resourcing, and scheduling Manage and deliver projects to specifications using a defined development process within budget and timeline Build meaningful relationships with squad members, improving rapport and trust Embrace change and drive continuous learning and process improvements within squads Act on feedback to bring about positive changes; practice Servant Leadership Understand squad capacity and impediments; promote sustainable execution Coach squad on input for squad-level decision making to achieve common goals Identify and address mentality impediments; encourage experimentation for self-sufficiency Align risk and control processes with day-to-day responsibilities to mitigate risks Qualifications

6+ years of experience as a Scrum Master Bachelors’ degree preferred and/or related experience Talents and Skills

Experience in Agile Development with Scrum Master (or similar) experience Scrum Master certification a plus Clear communicator with strong verbal and written skills Proactive with strong follow-through Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced IT environment Proficient MS Office skills Knowledge of system functionality to engage with the squad Curious, asks questions, raises risks or issues when needed Flexible, proactive in tracking down information Innovative and adaptable Comfortable working with management to review approaches and requirements Experience across the software development lifecycle Familiarity with diverse technologies and platforms Familiarity with Agile techniques and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Jira) Leadership Competencies
