Overview
Infosys is seeking a Senior Java Developer with experience to interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements elicitation, application architecture knowledge, and design. You will help create high-level design artifacts and deliver high-quality code for a module, lead validation for testing, and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. You will be part of a learning culture where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Maryland Heights, MO or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations. Interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle, including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture knowledge, and Design. Create high-level design artifacts. Deliver high-quality code deliverables for a module. Lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Collaborate in a learning culture that emphasizes teamwork, excellence, and diversity. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 4 years of Information Technology experience. Experience in Core Java, Java 8, J2EE, Springboot, RESTful web services, API development, Maven. Experience with developing web and microservices applications. Preferred Skills
CSS3, JavaScript, XML, HTML5, JQuery, Bootstrap. Experience in React JS / Angular JS. Experience in AWS RDS, MySQL databases. AWS working knowledge - Cloud Trail, CloudWatch, AWS services storage, computing, networking. Experience in Design Review, Code Review and architecture review; participate in architect review forums like Architecture Review Board, and interact with Client Tech SMEs and Architects. Strong communication and analytical skills. Ability to drive technical meetings and represent Infosys at client side. Ability to work in a team in a diverse/multiple stakeholder environment. Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment. Experience in file transmission, networking, and knowledge about security code scans. Understanding of Containers & Docker Architecture. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
