What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Develop and deploy data governance frameworks and standards related to data policies and processes

Execute data governance stewardships and business processes using relevant tools

Collaborate with various stakeholders to apply an established data governance framework

Support business owners in addressing high-priority enterprise data problems and recommend solutions

Conduct business analysis, including process mapping and requirement definition

What is Required (Qualifications)

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in database design, development, and architecture

Experience in data governance, data quality, or data architecture within key business applications

Strong verbal and written communication skills with leadership and peer groups

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) or Project Management

Understanding of cloud technologies, preferably AWS

Experience with AWS services for Data Lake (e.g., S3, Glue, Athena)

Previous experience with data governance tools like Alation or Collibra
