Overview

The Associate Wealth Advisor is an opportunity to collaborate with a planning-centric team of advisors to design, build, and protect the financial dreams of clients. This individual will partner with a Wealth Advisor to care for client relationships by actively participating in the financial planning process to address retirement, risk management, estate, and tax considerations. The role also includes managing the database of client information and requests, articulating our investment philosophy, and organizing best practices. This position is based in Needham, MA.

Primary Responsibilities

Develops a mastery of Focus Partner Wealth’s evidence-based investment philosophy Serves as a resource for other AWAs at Focus Partners Wealth Create, edit, and present financial plans through eMoney Creates a personalized Investment Policy Statement and holistic investment strategy for each client Independently lead client communications and interactions Understand fundamentals of trading; partner with Portfolio Management to approve & execute portfolios, trade recommendations, tax loss harvesting, etc. Determine asset allocation based on clients’ needs, willingness & ability to take risk Diligent recording of client communication and information within the CRM Serve as day-to-day contact for client needs; collaborate with team to ensure high service levels Assist with client billing reviews and collaborate with the billing department to ensure timely fee collection Engage in business planning efforts and actively support the firm’s strategic priorities Ability to meet with clients in person; some travel may be required

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree 2+ years financial planning experience Series 65 Strong interpersonal communication skills; team-orientated approach Knowledge of financial industry, financial products, and financial planning concepts Clean U4

Compensation and Benefits

The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $70,000 - $75,000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is one component of total compensation, which may also include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
