Overview
We are supporting a legal services company in a Senior FP&A Analyst search. Position Summary: As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will be responsible for providing financial insights and strategic support to leadership. You’ll help forecast revenue, analyze costs, and develop models that guide business decisions across our legal practice areas. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders. Responsibilities
Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning Analyze revenue streams, client profitability, and cost structures across practice groups Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports with variance analysis and performance metrics Partner with department heads to understand financial drivers and identify opportunities for improvement Support strategic initiatives such as pricing strategies, resource allocation, and M&A evaluations Assist in the preparation of board presentations and executive-level reporting Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA a plus) 5+ years of experience in FP&A, preferably in professional services or legal industry Strong proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar) Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Compensation
The salary range for this position is between $90,000 - $110,000. This role will receive competitive salary, benefits, and variable compensation. Compensation is determined by various factors, including experience, location, and performance.
