The Revenue Accounting Manager position is eligible for hybrid work with in-office requirement at Syner-G's Framingham, MA office. Job Functions / Responsibilities
Revenue Recognition & Month-End Close: Manage the end-to-end revenue accounting close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP and ASC 606. Technical Accounting: Lead technical accounting reviews, prepare technical memos, and ensure revenue policies are up-to-date. Process Improvement: Identify and drive improvements in revenue accounting processes and systems, including exploring automation and AI tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Internal Controls: Design, implement, and maintain robust internal controls over revenue accounting. Contract Review: Review complex customer contracts and service agreements to ensure proper and compliant revenue recognition. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Legal, Pricing, and FP&A teams to ensure revenue implications are understood and managed across the business. Audit Support: Act as a key point of contact for external auditors, providing revenue-related documentation and supporting audit readiness. Lead, mentor, and develop the revenue accounting team, providing guidance on technical matters and applying ASC 606 to customer contracts. Other Functions

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting is required. CPA license preferred. Technical Experience
8+ years of experience in accounting, with specific experience in revenue recognition (ASC 606). Proficiency with ERP systems, including NetSuite, Salesforce and Kantata. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong understanding of US GAAP and its application. Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze and interpret financial data. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of revenue recognition principles in a project-based environment. Experience with Power BI, Adaptive Planning or similar reporting tools.
