Job Title: Java Developer (3 openings) Duration: 6 months Contract to Hire Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ – Fully onsite 5 days a week Hourly pay: $75/hr. W2 only Restrictions: Due to client requirements, only GC Holders & USC may apply. Local candidates preferred. Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications within complex, large-scale enterprise environments. Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to implement features and ensure alignment with the technical design. Develop API integrations and microservices as part of full-stack solutions. Contribute to unit testing using JUnit and Mockito; participate in Agile development processes. Qualifications
6+ years of experience in Java, GIT, JIRA, Maven, Confluence, Spring framework (Core, Boot, MVC, AOP). 6+ years of experience implementing complex full-stack solutions including APIs and microservices in large enterprise organizations. 4+ years of experience with databases and integrations (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL). 4+ years of experience with Amazon services (ELB, SQS, SES, SWF, SNS, DynamoDB). 4+ years of experience creating unit tests with JUnit and Mockito. 3+ years of experience in Agile methodologies. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education/experience. Nice to have / Preferred experience
Experience with Play Framework, Apache Camel. Experience in payments industry and high-volume transaction processing. Experience with quality and security scanning tools (SonarQube, Fortify, WebInspect). Experience with API integration testing tools (Postman, JMeter). Experience with OAuth 2.0, Jax-B, Jax-RS. Non-negotiables
Senior-level Java developer capable of working independently and interpreting architectural designs to deliver implemented features. Tech stack
