Tech Valley Talent (TVT) is seeking an Expert Software Architect for a 30-month position in Albany, NY (Hybrid). The Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs is a New York State agency that provides oversight for facilities across the state responsible for the care of individuals with special needs. The Vulnerable Persons Central Registry (VPCR) is a case management system developed for the Justice Center using Siebel CRM technology. The consultant will work with other VPCR staff to maintain, enhance, and support the VPCR to assure that this important 24/7 application will meet the needs of Justice Center staff. Qualifications
Software Architect with experience in making high-level design choices and dictating technical standards. Expert-level experience (84+ months) with Siebel System Architecture, Siebel Configuration Process and Tools, and Siebel Enterprise Integration Manager (EIM) architecture. Experience with Siebel web templates, OpenUI, JavaScript, jQuery, and/or .net. Experience with IP 2020 or higher architecture, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Siebel Workspace, Siebel Web Tools, and Siebel Cloud migration. Systems Integration experience using Webservices, REST APIs, SOAP, WS Security, encryption/decryption. Siebel Automated testing experience. Day-to-Day tasks
Debug and configure Siebel Public Sector Applications, Siebel Enterprise Servers, Siebel Gateway Server, and Siebel Web Server. Install Siebel Tools, CFG file settings, and ODBC Settings. Perform daily health checks and use Siebel Tools to configure VPCR application per user requirements. Unit test changes developed for VPCR application and correct defects detected in Testing Stage of release cycle. Troubleshoot ITSM tickets for VPCR application and document repository development in a functional design format.
