12 months (with possible extension) Pay:
$110 - $120/hr (W2 only, no C2C) About the Role: We are seeking an experienced
Technical Architect IV
to lead large-scale
SAP Finance transformation programs
in SAP S/4HANA, including RISE projects in private cloud environments. The ideal candidate will combine deep functional expertise with strong technical knowledge to deliver end-to-end finance solutions and enable business transformation. Key Responsibilities: Lead and deliver SAP Finance transformation initiatives using
SAP S/4HANA ,
SAP Activate , or hybrid Agile methodologies. Provide expert-level knowledge of
Finance business processes
including general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, management accounting, allocations, overhead management, project systems, fixed assets (Power Plan), billing, cash management, financial planning & analysis, and reporting/analytics. Ensure integration across
SAP FI/CO/TR/PS
and related modules; cross-functional understanding of
SD, MM, or PM . Implement and configure finance-related applications such as
Blackline, Icertis, OneSource Global Next, OpenText VIM, Power Plan, Taulia, Tagetik, UI Planner, Utegration Finance4U , and Regulatory Accounting & Reporting tools. Develop
SAP BTP solutions, Cloud ABAP programming , and
Fiori applications ; maintain legacy
ABAP RICEFW objects . Work with
SAP BW4HANA, Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) , or other analytics tools. Utilize
SAP Cloud ALM
for project documentation (Epics, User Stories, Features) and operational tasks with scheduling tools like
Redwood . Employ
SAP Signavio
for business process management and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, providing clear communication of complex technical concepts. Required Qualifications: 10+ years of experience delivering large-scale SAP Finance transformations in
S/4HANA . Strong functional and technical expertise across
SAP FI/CO/TR/PS . Hands-on experience with at least
three finance-related applications
listed above. Experience in
SAP BTP, Cloud ABAP, and Fiori development ; prior ABAP programming in ECC. Working knowledge of
SAP BW4HANA, Datasphere, SAC
is a plus. Familiarity with
SAP Cloud ALM , Redwood, and Signavio. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance/Accounting, or related field. SAP S/4HANA certification
is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in
utility, energy, or other asset-intensive industries . Exposure to
Bluefield SAP implementations . Southern California local preferred.
