We are looking for a highly skilled

Infrastructure Engineer / Spectrum Engineer

to join our team in

a Contract to Hire, Hybrid

in

Miramar, FL (preferred)

or

Addison, TX . This role will support the design, planning, testing, and implementation of wireless and cellular network technologies. This role is 95% hands-on and includes both office and fieldwork (60/40 split). The ideal candidate is experienced in spectrum analysis, wireless troubleshooting, and customer-facing communication, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work across technical and business teams. Key Responsibilities Plan, design, configure, and test wireless technologies, including Wi-Fi, Cisco wireless, and cellular networks Perform in-depth spectrum analysis (RF, wireless, cellular) and troubleshoot wireless issues Conduct detailed wireless LAN/WAN site surveys using tools such as Ekahau and RF scanners Support and maintain secure wireless authentication systems (802.1x, MAC Auth, RADIUS, etc.) Work closely with customers, leadership, and technical peers to explain network solutions Provide hands-on support for wireless deployments, upgrades, and troubleshooting Create and maintain detailed technical documentation Support fieldwork at customer sites (~40% of the time) Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and travel up to 20% as needed Requirements 3–4+ years of experience in wireless network engineering or spectrum analysis Strong knowledge of RF spectrum and cellular/wireless troubleshooting Experience with Cisco wireless technologies;

CCNA Wireless

or similar certification required Working knowledge of wireless protocols (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax), LAN controllers, and infrastructure Ability to explain technical topics to all levels of the business Excellent communication and customer service skills Detail-oriented and highly organized Positive, proactive attitude and team player Scripting experience (Python, Bash, etc.) is a

plus Experience with Cisco ISE, DNA Center, Catalyst Center, and Aruba technologies Proficiency with network monitoring and packet analysis tools (Wireshark, Ekahau, etc.) Strong understanding of networking protocols and security (TCP/IP, VLANs, ACLs, RADIUS, etc.) Familiarity with cellular technologies (LTE, 5G, public/private networks) Experience with layer 2/3 switching and routing (OSPF, BGP, STP, VRRP, etc.) Ability to travel nationally to locations 20% of the time Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) The company offers
