Senior Pursuit Specialist
to join our Marketing Team in Denver, CO, Phoenix, AZ, or Tucson, AZ. This role focuses on ensuring that statements of qualifications (SOQs), proposals, and related deliverables meet solicitation requirements and are submitted on time, while supporting pursuit strategies and collaboration across departments. Role
This individual will collaborate with technical staff and Business Development to produce high-quality proposals and SOQs. Primary responsibilities include preparing proposals and SOQs, ensuring solicitation requirements are met and timely submission. The role also involves tracking pursuit efforts through proposal development, coordinating with other departments, and supporting pre-positioning efforts and win strategies. May specialize in marketing functions such as public relations, communications, or digital marketing as needed. Represents the firm on topics within their expertise and provides guidance to other team members.
Accountabilities
Compile, write, edit, and format content for proposals and interviews in accordance with RFP/Qs with accuracy and quality using Dibble Proposal Process. Organize and manage the proposal and interview process to meet deadlines. Ensure quality and conformance, including grammar, clarity, production, and timely delivery. Collaborate with project teams in multiple locations. Coordinate day-to-day marketing activities to advance projects and tasks. Assist with database maintenance in Deltek VantagePoint. Support pre-positioning efforts, developing win strategies and go/no-go decisions. Ensure marketing proposals and collateral adhere to company branding. Create compelling content with a differentiating message and approach. Foster synergy across RFP pursuit teams and stakeholders. Lead or assist with interview preparation and create supporting media (PPT, boards, etc.). Monitor websites and publications to distribute leads and RFQ/RFPs for go/no-go decisions. Maintain an organized filing system for proposals, including CRM databases.
Qualifications
Professional communication, verbally and in writing, with clients, colleagues, management, and principals. Strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to balance independent and collaborative efforts with discretion. Strong analytical ability and marketing best practices. Attention to detail across multiple tasks and deadlines. Education And Experience
A.S. or B.S. in English, Technical Communications, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or equivalent experience. Five to ten years in proposal development, production, and delivery with technical writing and/or marketing experience, preferably in the A/E/C industry. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat). Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong organizational skills. Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one within 3 months of start date.
Location
This opportunity can be located in our Denver office and is also open to Phoenix, AZ or Tucson, AZ.
Compensation
Salary will be market-competitive and depends on level of skills and experience.
