Lead the preparation, review, and reconciliation of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reports in accordance with GAAP and organizational policies. Manage and oversee revenue recognition processes to ensure compliance with GAAP and organizational policies. Perform detailed revenue analysis, including tracking and monitoring revenue streams to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Partner with Finance leadership to provide budget recommendations, forecasts, and variance analyses related to revenue streams. Collaborate with department leaders to ensure accurate alignment of programmatic activities with financial performance and budgets. Prepare and review invoices, reconciliations, and revenue schedules; ensure compliance with internal policies. Complete the monthly closing process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and detailed revenue tracking schedules. Ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger by reconciling balance sheet accounts and analyzing income statement accounts monthly. Maintain and improve revenue tracking systems, dashboards, and financial models to support decision-making. Develop and implement processes for ongoing monitoring of revenue performance against forecasts and budgets. Provide timely and accurate financial analysis to support strategic planning, business development, and leadership reporting. Assist the Controller with audit preparation and respond to auditor inquiries related to revenue, accounts receivable, and revenue recognition. Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and external regulations related to revenue reporting, recognition, and monitoring. Performs ad-hoc duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications
Education Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong focus on revenue reporting, recognition, tracking, and analysis. Experience in the healthcare industry is highly preferred. Skills Advanced knowledge of GAAP revenue recognition principles; experience with nonprofit, healthcare, or service industries preferred. Strong skills in budget development, monitoring, and variance analysis. Advanced proficiency in revenue tracking tools, ERP/accounting systems, and Excel modeling (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, dashboards, financial modeling). Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial data for non-financial stakeholders. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
