About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Accounting and Finance to play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of financial strategies that align with organizational goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading finance and accounting teams, ensuring compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal financial policies, and overseeing core accounting functions. This role also involves maintaining strong internal controls, conducting risk analysis, and leading M&A or strategic initiatives. The VP will be a key communicator of financial metrics and insights to senior leadership and stakeholders, and will be expected to build and lead a high-performing, collaborative finance team. Applicants for the Vice President of Accounting and Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a CPA preferred, and at least 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity. Deep knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls is essential, as is a strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. The role requires excellent communication, team leadership skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Experience with ERP systems, particularly NetSuite, and e-commerce accounting is a plus.
