About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Accounting and Tax to take on a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing all financial and tax-related functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, tax planning and compliance, and internal controls. This leadership position also involves actively identifying and leading efforts to enhance processes, systems, and workflows to support the company's growth. Strategic guidance on complex accounting and tax issues, including M&A, international expansion, and regulatory compliance, is a key aspect of the role. Applicants must have a Master’s degree in Accounting, CPA certification, and a minimum of 12 years' experience in accounting and tax, with at least 7 years in a leadership capacity. Experience in international statutory audits, tax filings, and a strong background in US GAAP, international accounting standards, and tax laws/regulations are essential. The role requires proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. The ideal candidate will also have a proven track record in managing cross-border transactions, transfer pricing, and international tax planning strategies.
