About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Finance & Accounting to serve as the senior executive responsible for the strategic and operational management of the company's financial activities. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring the financial health and stability of the organization through effective financial leadership, strategic planning, and risk management. This role involves overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, cash flow, and financial reporting, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The VP will also be a key decision-maker, providing financial expertise to support the CEO and other executives in strategic planning and resource allocation. Candidates for the VP of Finance & Accounting position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a minimum of 10 years' related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Essential skills include a strong background in general ledger and consolidation accounting, financial analysis, and a general knowledge of international financial reporting standards. The role requires a leader with excellent communication, organization, and time management skills, and the ability to manage a large finance and accounting team. A Master's degree in corporate finance, CPA or equivalent certifications, and experience with specific ERP systems are preferred. The VP will be expected to engage with the board of directors, and the executive leadership team, and to represent the company in financial matters with external stakeholders.
