Responsibilities
Partner with treasury leadership to provide input and guidance on capital efficiency and liquidity business issues; provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making affecting subsidiary lines of business. Conduct and document treasury forecasting analysis projects, data gathering, manipulation, summarization, and analysis of reports, dashboards, cash throughput activity, trends, and opportunities. Provide treasury management with cash flow reporting and analysis used for strategic and tactical decision making. Work with various levels of management within treasury and business units to develop, interpret and implement treasury forecasting concepts related to strategic planning and forecasting to drive business results. Develop and maintain cash flow projections and facilitate forecasting activities to support capital efficiency and liquidity decisions. Support in Treasury Department development activities and collaborate across departments to meet treasury, cash, and working capital goals. Partner with treasury management on ad hoc analyses, special projects and executive meeting preparation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting. 3 years of experience in banking, treasury, cash management, consulting, or project management. Advanced MS Excel skills including modeling, regression analysis, formulas, graphs, and advanced macros. Experience with cash/bank management systems, Treasury Workstation, Treasury Management Systems (TMS) software platforms. Experience with cash management, forecasting, and internal controls.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA degree. CTP, CPA, or FP&A designation. Investment or cash accounting experience. Treasury Workstation and bank software experience. Prior treasury, banking or investment operations experience.
Cash Forecast and Analysis
Support capital efficiency decisions and strategy determined by treasury managers and directors. Forecasting, cash flow analysis and modeling; gather and interpret data used in treasury and enterprise initiatives; develop 1-30 day operating liquidity forecast and a 13-week short-term cash forecast; develop tools to forecast and stress test cash; perform attribution analysis of key cash drivers; collaborate with business units for credible forecasting information. Monitor and report compliance for cash consolidation statutory requirements. Analyze short-term FHLB borrowing needs and communicate to treasury management. Back office support for HCSC Enterprise In-House Banking, netting, and pooling as assigned. Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis; deliver useful reports to treasury operations cash management. Collaborate across departments to deliver cohesive treasury, cash, and working capital solutions. Support ad hoc analyses and special projects; assist executive meeting preparation.
Treasury Cash Management and Control
Manage cash flow in all bank accounts to ensure funds are available to cover obligations; maintain records of deposits, disbursements, and transfers. Lead treasury workstation activity to review daily cash positions; compile and summarize cash transaction information. Monitor treasury workstation and banking systems for security and controls; initiate/approve electronic fund transfers; set up new electronic transactions. Coordinate with Short Term Investment Management to maximize excess funds invested to meet future cash requirements. Train others on systems and processes; cross-train with other Treasury areas to provide coverage. Ensure all cash transactions are recorded to the appropriate general ledger; maintain strong internal cash controls and reconcile bank activity to cash worksheets and ledgers. Assist in monthly bank reconciliation processes and Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) procedures with Financial Reporting. Support development and maintenance of company-wide EFT procedures and authorization guidelines.
Compensation
$54,800.00 - $121,100.00; exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
