About the Job
This part-time position supports the teaching mission of the Supply Chain and Operations Department. Courses may include Project Management, Service Management, Introduction to Operations Management, Supply Chain Planning and Control, Supply Chain and Operations Strategy, Technology in the Supply Chain, Business Statistics, Sourcing, Quality Management and Six Sigma, Lean, and others. Courses are offered during the day, evenings, and Saturdays. Responsibilities include preparing course materials (syllabus, handouts, assignments, quizzes, exams), textbook selection, delivering courses, evaluating students, maintaining records, managing teaching assistants, and holding office hours. Qualifications
Senior Lecturer : Terminal degree plus 10 years of related industry or academic experience OR master's degree plus 15 years of related experience. Lecturer : Terminal degree OR master's degree plus 5 years of related experience. Senior Teaching Specialist : Bachelor's degree plus 6-8 years of teaching experience in a related field, with at least 4 years of formal teaching. Pay and Benefits
Pay is $3,200 per credit, with total pay depending on credits assigned. Course assignments depend on education and experience. Retirement options are available for various employee classifications.
