Sr. Risk And Control Manager at TEKsystems
Overview The Risk and Compliance Analyst will play a critical role in driving the successful execution of a detailed analysis of Controls for our client’s Commercial Banking environment.
Responsibilities
The Risk and Compliance Analyst will partner with the First Line of Defense (Business Control Officers, Process & Control Owners) as well as the Second Line of Defense to drive consensus and ensure controls are accurately captured.
Support the Lending and Trade Services Risk and Controls team in the RCSA review by the Enterprise Risk organization. Participate in an eight week sprint process to complete seven remaining areas of review, collaborating with Enterprise Risk, Control Tower leaders, and other business operations to conduct the RCSA process.
Job Specific Knowledge/Skills
Demonstrated knowledge of banking industry products, services, and workflows
Strong familiarity with critical business processes and controls, as well as overall business needs and objectives, for Commercial Lending
Strong track record of driving timely and effective issue resolution in a banking industry context
Deep expertise and ability to educate colleagues on risk management, controls, and compliance concepts, frameworks, and policies
Experience in coaching cross-functional stakeholders on issue management processes and in advising, providing subject matter expertise, monitoring, and credibly challenging colleagues on all components of the risk and control environment
Ability to establish authority, influence stakeholders, and productively debate issues (e.g., credible challenge) at all levels including without direct reporting responsibility
Ability to build strong relationships and engage constructively in a proactive and "no surprises" approach with cross-functional stakeholders, to challenge status quo and drive buy-in to achieve common goals
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate, including ability to summarize and explain complex findings and issues to a wide range of audiences
Ability to apply sound judgment and appropriately escalate concerns and issues
Ability to demonstrate managerial courage and inspire colleagues across the organization to embrace change
Ability to gather, analyze and interpret large datasets from various sources
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion
Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $85.00/hr.
