While this is a remote role, applicants must live within a two-hour driving distance of any Florida office (Gainesville, Daytona Beach, DeLand, Ocala or Tallahassee) to enable in-person collaboration as needed. Key Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of tax clients, providing high-quality services tailored to their needs. Supervise preparers and direct the day-to-day progress of engagements; ensure high-quality service delivery and staff development. Apply accounting and tax theory to ensure accurate data and client satisfaction. Plan, execute, and complete tax projects across various industries; delegate to tax preparers as needed. Interact with clients to provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise. Provide primary and secondary reviews of complex tax returns. Lead performance goals with management (chargeable hours, growth, profitability, innovation). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve firm goals. Perform quality control reviews of work papers and engagement items. Develop, prepare, and deliver internal and external continuing education. Meet firm guidelines for productivity, billing, and utilization; distribute work across the team appropriately. Assist in recruiting and interviewing within the department. Develop areas of technical specialization and transition toward client service in those areas. Prepare and issue accurate invoices based on terms and services rendered. Participate in department projects and committees to improve processes. Manage the lifecycle of projects, engagements, and operations. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related discipline. 5-7 years of comprehensive tax experience in public accounting. 3+ years of supervisory experience. CPA or CPA candidate preferred. Strong analytical and reasoning skills. Ability to manage and develop staff in a collaborative environment. Exceptional client service and communication skills with demonstrated ability to develop client relationships. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of CCH Axcess Suite; experience in tax research. Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and ability to operate a motor vehicle. Benefits
