– Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite) | Contract-to-Hire | $30–$40/hr | $75K–$85K upon conversion Recruiter I at The Intersect Group • This is a real estate and property management role focused on multi-family housing. The position supports the financial health of a growing portfolio through accurate financial reporting, compliance, and strategic accounting support to property managers and leadership. Base pay range : $30.00/hr - $40.00/hr Role Summary

The Senior Property Accountant plays a critical role in supporting the financial health of a rapidly growing portfolio of multi-family properties. This position ensures accurate financial reporting, maintains compliance with internal and external requirements, and provides strategic accounting support to property managers and leadership. You will prepare financial statements, manage prepaids and accruals, reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts, and maintain weekly cash updates to support decision-making and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP (cash and accrual basis) Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet items with precision and timeliness Manage prepaids, accruals, and general ledger postings to ensure accuracy Update weekly cash positions and ensure availability of funds across properties Analyze financial data and provide variance explanations to stakeholders Collaborate with property managers, asset management, and external auditors Review vendor invoices and guide AP team on proper GL coding and payroll allocations Maintain detailed audit trails and supporting schedules for fixed assets, insurance, and taxes Key Requirements

Minimum 3 years of property accounting experience, preferably in multi-family housing Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience) Strong proficiency in bank and balance sheet reconciliations, prepaids, and accruals Experience preparing financial statements and analyzing budget variances Familiarity with Yardi or similar property management systems is a strong plus Advanced Excel skills and comfort with Microsoft Office tools Excellent time management, ownership mentality, and attention to detail Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively Why Apply Now?
