About This Opportunity

We are seeking a

Project Accountant

who plays a critical role in supporting business operations and ensuring the financial health of our organization. This position is responsible for client invoicing, incentive processing, interfacing with the project management team, as well as providing support for financial systems and various other accounting functions. The Project Accountant reports to the Controller and may be assigned a variety of F&A-related special projects. What You Will Be Doing

Prepare client invoices in Deltek Ajera with a high degree of accuracy and ownership Process customer incentives in alignment with contractual and operational standards Maintain state business registrations and annual report filings Deltek Ajera maintenance, testing, and support Assist with Work in Progress (WIP) review Provide assistance with billing rate table updates and quarterly reconciliation Serve as SharePoint F&A team site administrator, ensuring resources are accurate and accessible Assist with month-end close activities and year-end audit, as needed Identify, recommend, and implement improvements to recurring accounting processes Perform other duties as assigned This is a full-time, exempt position located near either our

Portland, OR home office or the Chicago, IL office . This can be remote with minimal travel. Qualifications

Applicants for this role are required to have: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience 4+ years of experience in an accountant, project billing, or operational finance role Experience with Deltek Ajera software is highly desirable A successful candidate should also demonstrate these preferred characteristics and/or skills: Effective collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment to comfortably interact with internal and external customers For candidates whose experience may not align perfectly with all these preferred skills but can see themselves adding value in this role, we encourage you to still apply.
