With growing operations and exciting opportunities ahead, we are looking to strengthen our finance team with a strategic hire. Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant or Senior Financial Analyst to directly support the CFO in high-impact financial and operational functions. This is a hands-on, developmental role designed for an individual with strong technical aptitude and leadership potential. Key Responsibilities: Finance & Accounting: Assist with monthly and quarterly financial statement review and preparation Support internal reporting processes and ad hoc financial analysis Ensure accuracy in general ledger postings and reconciliations Contribute to the development and refinement of internal controls and accounting procedures Project & Cost Analysis: Analyze project-level job costing, labor allocations, and WIP reporting Monitor project budgets vs. actuals and variance reporting Prepare margin analysis and assist in developing forecasting models for project performance Collaborate with project managers and field leadership on financial insights Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of company-wide and project-specific budgets Support the CFO in rolling forecasts and scenario modeling Help develop standardized reporting templates for business units Procurement & Purchasing: Support the CFO in purchasing/ordering processes, vendor relationship development, and material tracking Help enforce purchasing guidelines and improve procurement data consistency Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis Experience in construction or project-based industries highly desirable Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks Enterprise, Procore, or similar) Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines Self-starter with the drive to learn, contribute, and grow into a leadership role Why Join Us: Strategic exposure and mentorship directly from the CFO Be part of a collaborative, employee-owned company with long-term vision Competitive compensation, benefits, and hybrid work flexibility
